At either a friends house or a boarding place for cats. Most Vets provide this service. It cost about $ 15.00 a day,but I live in Maryland. All you have to do is call around.

I've used a pet sitter for my cats when I was away for a week. It worked out great. They even brought in the mail.

<a href=""></a>

We also recently went overseas for 10 days and was heartbroken to leave our little kitten behind for that long. I was lucky enough to have my brother house sit for us and look after my dear pets. Is there no family member nearby who could either feed your kitten, or even stay at your house until you return. If not, my suggestion would be to rather get a house sitter/or pet sitter than take kitty to a pet hotel, as kitty will be much more comfortable in her own house and surroundings. Rather pay a housesitter/pet sitter as this will ensure kitty will also have some human company while you away, it would help if it was perhaps a friend you know or someone recommended so you know you could trust them. Sorry I live in South africa where we work in Rands, and I think the going rate would be about R100 per day for a house sitter, making sure there is enough food for the housesitter! Good luck, hope you find a good solution and dont miss your little kitten too much :-)

When we take off, we generally hire a friend or neighbor to feed the kittys and scoop the cat litter. We generally pay around $8.00 a day American, and more if the person has to travel much distance to cover for their gas. We bring the person in, show them where the food, litter and plastic bags for the used litter are, and where to dispose of it. We also instruct them to talk to the kittys and love on them a bit as they get lonely for human company.
