Singapore is a fun place!

you should try their SEAFOOD LAKSA noodle soup, go to esplanade, the singapore flyer, merlion, etc

you should also go to Sentosa and dive with the sharks!
ride the LUGE!!!
it's a lot of fun, believe me!

also, visit Clarke Quay at night and ride the GMAX (reverse bungee. it's one of the coolest rides ever!!!
if you're into shopping, there's also Bugis and Mustafa.
Street dining is also popular in Lau Pa Sat. Try the BBQ'd Stingray! YUM!

if you're into Zoos, you may visit their Night Safari or Jurong Bird park :)

other unique and fun things to do and eat in Singapore:
DHL balloon, dive with the sharks, flying trapeze, roti prata, lassi, singapore flyer, night safari

HAVE FUN!!!

The general consensus is - Yes, Singapore is a nice country. There is such a wide variety of food here that it can be a loss at times to know what to eat. You can eat simple fare from the Hawker Centres to the more sophisticated fare found in hotels. Where food is concerned, it's like a melting pot of cultures. You get to taste so much fusions.
Getting around is not a problem because there are signs to guide you.

Definitely.. however, its a very small country. Limit yourself to a week otherwise you'll run out of places to visit. You will be mesmerized by its beauty, cleanliness and state of the art technology. Its just super modern and chic. oh yeah, the food is AWESOME... Indian, Chinese, Malay, European, american, mexican...u name it, they have it.

wow.that's a lot of people for a restaurant whatever you decide on make sure you notify that restaurant at least one to two weeks in advance so that they can cater to you and your parties needs. and if you bring your own cake to the restaurant remember to bring your own paper plates and plastic utensils if necessary.
20-30 sounds pretty hard to begin with on a rough budget perhaps you should cut down the amount of attendees. or have a party at home, its much cheaper to buy food and cook it yourself or you could have it done by catering if you don't want to cook.
as far as cake recommendations on a budget.. and especially for 20 to 30 people I would just go with 2 quarter sheet cakes from a bakery. In the U.S. a quarter sheet would only cost a little under 15 American Dollars.

I really doubt if you will be able to get Botswana Pula in Singapore seeing that it is not one of the major world currencies. Change your local singapore currency to USD and bring it with you. You will get very good rates for Botswana pula at the local banks in Botswana or at the various money exchange agencies.

Enjoy!

Odds are it will be based on your experience. Since you probably have no work history, not much more than minimum wage. All you can do is apply and hope for an interview. In the interview they should tell you what your starting salary will be and when raises will be and what they will be based on.

Chances are if it anything like Canada, they won't start a new employee for more than minimum wage. Good luck with your career choice.
